Sermon Theme: As true believers wait for the second coming of Christ, they have a confirmed word of promise from the apostolic witness and the holy prophets that should stir them up to even greater godliness, which in turn assures them of their entrance into His eternal kingdom.

I. Reminder to Grow in Godliness – (1:12-15)

       3. But God’s inspired Word

   A. Are you ready for the Christ’s return?
   B. Are you motivated by Christ’s return?
