The reality of the resurrection and the return of Christ are motivations for us to live differently from the world, especially in the midst of suffering. Instead of responding like the world, we are to be a people who joyfully love and serve one another for the glory of God.

I. STOP SINNING – (1 Peter 4:1-7)
    A. Remember Christ’s Suffering – (vv.1-4)
    B. Remember Eternity – (vv.5-6)
    C. Remember Both are Imminent – (v.7)

II. START SERVING – (1 Peter 4:8-11)
    A. Love One Another – (v.8)
    B. Show Hospitality – (v.9)
    C. Use Your Gifts – (v.10)
    D. Speak the Words of God – (v.11a)
    E. Serve with God’s Strength – (v.11b)
    F. Give Glory to God – (v.11c)
